Glory is Infinite

In this moment, among the bated breaths and silent beckoning of legacy, a hero was born.

Shot at Dime Glory Challenge in Montreal, Québec. I couldn't believe it when it happened and I still can't believe it happened. I have never shot a skateboarding photo that looked so fake. The suspense in the stadium after Jawn Gardner left solid ground and began his ascent to greatness was so palpable that I forgot to breathe. The picture makes it seem like he is about to ride straight off of the rail without following it down, flying up and away on the gale of the cheering crowd now behind him as he plows through the clouds and into eternity.
